Where A House Becomes A Home

Service Process

Initial Interview

We will need a lot of information from you at this point to help us guide you through the process. The more accurate and complete the information you can provide, the quicker and more smooth the rest of the process will be. Your Home Consultant will help guide you through the questions and explain the relevance of all of them. Our first order of business is to help you decide if our team is the right one for your homebuilding needs. We will do our best to take the information you give and pair it with what we do well to let you know if it is a match from our perspective. In addition, we will provide you with information about our philosophies and ideas that will hopefully help you decide that we are your choice for a homebuilder.

Community Selection

After the Initial information is gathered, your Home Consultant will discuss the various community options we have for you and the pros and cons of each. If you have your own property already, we will visit the site.

Plan Selection

The most difficult part of the process for many is the plan selection. It can be very confusing and overwhelming. There are thousands of plans in magazines and on websites that all run together eventually. Our Home Consultants are there to help you through this. Allow them to make suggestions based on your living situation to help wade through this muddy water. This is the part that the information you supplied earlier is so important to.

Homesite Selection

Almost as important as the plan is the place you will put it. The two are interconnected. Some plans go well on some sites, some don't, so you want to be sure and invest the time here to make the right choice. Again, let your Home Consultant put their experience to use and guide you through the options. Don't get confused by lots that won't fit your plan or have large extra cost associated with them.

Options Selection

Now the real excitement starts. We get to start taking the ideas and dreams from your head and start trying to get as many of them as we can into reality. It is not just a 3 bedroom, bath, 2 dining and 2 living house. It is a luxurious seafoam green retreat in the master bedroom that feels like a spa. It is a dramatic red dining room that people stop and admire as they come into your home. It is the hyper functional gold kitchen with everything in just the right place. It is the comfortable bronze great room where you entertain a group. The only difference is that the latter examples have your ideas and thoughts in them. We have to bring them out!

Construction Manager Introduction

At this point we know what we are building, where we are building it and how we are building it. Now it is time for you to meet who will be building it. You meet your Construction Manager at this meeting and his job is to cover everything to be sure what you contracted for is what we are building

Foundation Meeting

Just before the foundation is placed, your Construction Manager will meet with you to verify all the components and take the time to educate you on the parts and why they go where they are.

Frame Meeting

As the framing is completed, the roof goes on, and mechanicals go in, we need you to meet with us to verify locations of things such as phone, network, and cable jacks along with many other things. In addition, we will mark where flooring starts and stops and verify your selections at this point. It is also a great chance to see how the home is built, please ask questions!

Precarpet Meeting

Almost done! Let's just take one last look to be sure everything is done to our satisfaction so that we can put the carpet down and close it all up.

Home Introduction

Now your home is complete. Your Construction Manager will show you how everything works and be sure you know how to maintain your investment. Please come ready to take notes, and please ask questions!

30-Day Check Up

About a month after you move in, we will stop in to check and make sure everything is still as it should be and do a few maintenance items for you.

1-Year Check Up

We want to make sure our work is still performing as it should! We will do a brief inspection and some maintenance items to ensure the long life of your home.
