Where A House Becomes A Home

Testimonials

Dear Keystone Classic Homes;
I am taking a moment to write you, and Keystone, a quick note to show my appreciation for the home that I purchased from you all in May 2009.

As you know, within a month after purchasing my dream home from you guys, my company relocated me to Louisiana. I faced the decision of putting my home back on the market or maintaining it from afar. I am happy to say that I chose to keep my home in hopes of finding a new position in Houston. Although this was a difficult decision, I could not imagine letting go of my perfect house!

What you might not be aware of is how much our builder-client relationship has provided in terms of relief while I am away during the week. On multiple occasions, someone from Keystone has come to my rescue when I needed assistance at my home while I have been away. Furthermore, this transitional period of my life has been made even easier in that I have had virtually zero home maintenance issues. Because my home was built with no hidden problems, I have been allowed to come home on weekends and completely relax - no repairs necessary.

If I could speak with anyone who is considering building or buying a home, I would urge them to do so with you and Keystone. Not only have I been pleased with an immaculate product, but the service after we closed has been exactly the type of support that a single woman needs when faced with such turbulent life circumstances.

Dear Keystone Classic Homes;
Home construction is about service and customer satisfaction and we are pleased to act as a reference for the superior service and attention to customer satisfaction at Keystone Classic Homes. We appreciate the way Keystone paid sincere attention to not only the physical construction of our home but also to insuring that we were comfortable with the details, follow-up, and outcome of every item. Every issue was responded to professionally and without delay by every Keystone employee. As we have often noted, the quality of construction of the house is superior and so was the experience. Thanks for a great job.

Dear Keystone Classic Homes;
After spending several days with a realtor, and visiting more than 20 some homes built by many other builders, we came across a Keystone property at Oxbow Lane. We were very impressed with that home but it wasnt big enough to meet our needs. While touring the house, Chris Litton, Keystone onsite construction manager, stopped to see if we had any questions. Our realtor talked to Chris and explained the urgency around our situation. Chris also walked us through another Keystone home across the street. We immediately fell in love with the architecture, design and craftsmanship of the home as well as the extensive landscaping. The construction was 95% complete so the construction manager took the time to walk us through a 3rd property that was under construction and point out all of the extras that Keystone puts into their construction process to deliver the quality of home they do.

The most important part of our experience was yet to come. After move in, as always, there were some items that needed repaired or corrected. We had learned to expect this from our other home purchases. Past experiences had left us with a very poor opinion of building contractors and one of the main reasons is that after you sign on the dotted line and give them your money, it was hard to get them back. This was not the case with Keystone. One example of this was that as we cleaned windows, we found scratches on a number of them that was determined was from the brick layers. Within a week, Keystone had all the windows with scratches replaced. The final walk through before we signed the papers had a punch list of items we wanted changed or corrected. Keystone kept on top of that list and had everything corrected with minimal impact to our family in an acceptable time frame.

Dear Keystone Classic Homes;
I am currently having a house built by your company. I wanted you to know how excited I am about my new home. I have been so pleased with everything and everybody.

When I met Burk Moreland I was impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and personality. I can now add patience. He truly cared about making my "dream house" fit me.

Burk introduced me to Chris Litton at the home site, whom he explained, would be in charge of building my house. Chris would be there every day and could answer my questions, etc. Chris is organized, efficient and on top of everything. He expects excellence in all of the workmanship. Chris keeps things happening.

Every person I have met from Kathy in the office to the electrical, plumbing, granite, paint, tile, carpet, and landscape contractors, including the workers, have seemed to share my enthusiasm.

I still have about 30 days left until completion. I think I have the best house in the neighborhood. Its my home, and that is the way it should be.

The experience I had working for Burk Moreland will be one that I carry with me for the rest of my life. Burk had a hand in molding me in the person I am today. The constant teaching and leading by example was a show of integrity that you do not find often in the work place.

Also, the eye that Burk has for raw talent is a gift that not many people have. I watched Burk take not only myself but other individuals and make them something great. He knows how to find that diamond in the rough. With his patience and great leadership abilities he was able to form our team into a family. I have full confidence that whatever Burk Moreland sets his mind to do you can believe he will achieve it.
